About the Event

About the Italian Grand Prix Circuit

The Monza racetrack never fails to combine speed with skill. Some of the finest races of all time can be seen at the Italian Grand Prix. Work began on the circuit in 1922 and was impressively completed in under six months, the track has remained unchanged since this opening. After Brooklands in the UK and Indianapolis in the USA, The Monza is the third permanent race track in existence with the total track length standing at 10 kilometres, and the circuit has held more grand prix than any other venue.

The Monza has always been a record breaker in terms of speed. Peter Gethin's win in 1971 was achieved at a record-breaking average speed of 150.7mph. Chicanes were introduced the following year but F1 was back up to speed eventually - Michael Schumacher's 2003 victory (153.8mph) setting the current benchmark. Twelve months later, Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello set the fastest ever pole position - with an average speed of 161.8mph - at Monza.

Hospitality at the Italian Grand Prix

The beautiful parkland track is located a stone’s throw from the fashion capital of Milan, and a short ride from the playground to the stars Lake Como, making this Grand Prix a must for fans of exceptional F1 experiences.

The race track combines speed and skill and has been witness to some of the most celebrated moments in F1 history. Enjoy the best that La Pista Magica – the magic track – has to offer this season through an exclusive hospitality package.
