Ebor Festival

With award winning modern grandstands, perfectly manicured lawns and an array of listed buildings York racecourse provides the perfect setting for the famed Ebor Festival.

Known as Knavesmire, the course has become a favourite among riders and spectators since its inception in 1731. Four days of top class sport will revisitthe venue in late August yet again. Ebor Day on the Saturday consistently offers up some great talking points. These have included the flying dismountfrom Frankie Dettori and a famous win for the rank outsider Mudawin at 100-1, it always provides a great spectacle.
