Gondwana Kwena Lodge

Kwena Lodge at Gondwana Game Reserve is a modern and luxurious safari lodge that offers a unique twist on traditional Khoi-San dwellings. The lodge features open-plan suites with breathtaking 180-degree views, sky lights for stargazing, clay pot fireplaces, and deep baths to keep guests warm after an evening game drive.

The lodge offers spacious accommodation facilities including a large infinity swimming pool, a chic open-plan lounge and bar, an elegant dining room with two open fireplaces, a covered veranda for wildlife viewing, and an outdoor African boma (fire pit and sitting area). Each private suite at the lodge is a well-appointed, free-standing building with a spacious bedroom overlooking waterholes and the Outeniqua and Langeberg mountain ranges, which were once part of the supercontinent Gondwanaland.

Gondwana Game Reserve is a private game reserve spanning 11,000 hectares (26,000 acres) and offers a distinctive and luxurious malaria-free safari holiday experience. The reserve is home to the Big 5 safari animals (lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino, and leopard), over 1,000 species of Fynbos, and more than 200 bird species. Knowledgeable game rangers are available to guide guests on exciting wildlife encounters.

In addition to its natural wonders, Gondwana Game Reserve supports upliftment projects for schools related to conservation initiatives. The lodge also offers themed team-building activities and is home to over 15 species of antelope, including kudu, eland, bontebok, waterbuck, and sable.
